QUIZ: Which ‘Busy Type’ Are You?

Find out which Busy Type you are
(and what can help).

Sound Familiar?

  • Saying yes to too many good things, and running out of time and energy.

  • Being tossed back and forth by competing demands, unsure if you’re even focusing on what’s most important.

  • Getting frustrated with yourself for being tired, distracted and irritable with your people.

  • Feeling defeated and like you’re just not doing it all well enough.

  • Falling into bed exhausted at the end of the day, knowing you have to do it all again tomorrow.

As a wife, mum of 4 and business owner, I get it.

I want for you (and me) to find a way to relax into our lives, let go of exhaustion and bring our best selves to what matters most.

I create practical tools to help you:

Better manage your practical, mental and emotional loads.

  • Stop comparing yourself and trust your own priorities and values.

  • Let go of the fear and anxiety that keep you over-functioning.

  • Bring your most authentic self, your gifts and your presence to all that you do, and

  • Create the conditions in your life that will help you thrive.

I teach women who lead demanding lives how to be present and purposeful so they can feel more at ease in their lives – even when there’s a lot going on (because there always is!)

Why does it matter?

When we’re too busy -

🛑our people know it and they feel it. It doesn’t just affect us.

🛑we end up living efficient, generic lives that disconnected from our own priorities and values

🛑we erode our physical health, live on stress and rely on unhelpful coping mechanisms (donut, anyone?)

🛑our people don’t have permission to exhale and relax either.

🛑we’re modelling exhaustion and over-functioning to our kids, and feeding a culture of impossible standards.

Women set the emotional thermostat and shape their family life in profound ways.

When we’re too busy our people know it and they feel it

How did we get here?

A great question.

Our way too busy lives start with good intentions.

We want the best for our families, to be generous with our time and energy, to keep the peace and to enjoy a sense of achievement in our work.  And there are so many good things and worthy ways to use our time – it makes sense that we struggle to say no and discern what’s most important.

If that weren’t enough, many of us are living with the mistaken belief that things have to be perfect to be good enough.  And so we carry the burden of unrealistic standards and feel defeated when we fall short.

And then there are others of us who have been through times in life when things haven’t been ok, and want to make sure that our careers, finances and our people are secure.  Over-functioning can feel like a form of insurance.

Truth be told, most of us haven’t had the opportunity to learn the skills we need to enjoy the messy juggle of raising our families while still thriving as people.

But life doesn’t have to be this way

You can feel like your best self, focus on what matters most and bring back a sense of ease, clarity and balance.

If that’s what you want too, welcome friend. You’ll find what you need here.
